Trading activities in the Nigerian Equities market closed positive at the end of today, Thursday (13/02/2025), as the NGX-ASI increased to 109,171.82 from 107,822.53 recorded at the close of the previous trading day, indicating a YTD return of 6.07%.
The market capitalization increased by ₦842 billion to ₦68.116 trillion from ₦67.274 trillion recorded at the previous trading day’s close. However, the market turnover decreased to ₦9.196 billion from ₦10.233 billion.
The market breadth was positive at 1.36X as 34 stocks advanced and 25 stocks declined, while 61 stocks remained unchanged. DANGCEM topped the gainers’ list with 10.00%, while GOLDBREW declined by 9.91% to lead the losers’ chart.
UNIVINSURE recorded the highest volume, while ZENITHBANK recorded the highest value for the day.
