The market turnover increased to N3.58bn from N2.89bn, while market breadth was positive at 1.33x as 20 stocks advanced against 15 stocks that declined, 78 stocks remained unchanged. The share price of COURTVILLE increased by 10.00% to top the gainer’s chart, while CILEASING declined by -10.00% to lead the losers’ chart.

OUTLOOK
The performance of the market today was as a result of buy interest of investors in mainly bell-whether stocks, especially in the Banking, consumer goods and oil & gas sectors. Also, the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria has voted unanimously to retain the benchmark interest rate at 11.5%, whilst keeping all other monetary parameters constant.We expect mixed responses to continue with reactions to economic changes and financial results of companies.
