OUTLOOK
On the back of strong performances in the banking and oil & gas sectors, the Nigerian equities market recovered from the previous session’s loss. Investors, who had lost over ₦600 billion in market value, saw renewed confidence as market capitalization rebounded. However, the sustainability of this momentum remains uncertain, given the global economic outlook influenced by trade tensions and the ripple effects of key policy shifts by major world powers. Nevertheless, with a cautious investment approach, we project that market performance could remain relatively stable in the short term.
