Similarly, the market capitalization increased by N580.23 billion to N35.7576 trillion from N35.1774 trillion recorded at the close of the previous trading day, while the market turnover decreased to N9.41 billion from N22.03 billion recorded at the close of the previous trading day.
The market breadth was positive at 1.21x as 40 stocks advanced and 33 stocks declined, while 42 stocks remained unchanged. TRANSCOHOT and four other stocks topped the gainers’ list with +10.00%, while CHIPLC declined by -10.00% to lead the losers’ chart.
