The market performance for the week, however, decreased by 1.19%, with the NGX All-Share Index (ASI) decreasing to 106,533.26 from 107,821.39recorded at the start of the trading week
Similarly, the market capitalization decreased by ₦154.97 billion to ₦66.713 trillion from ₦66.869 trillion recorded at the previous trading day’s close. Also, the market turnover decreased to ₦9.634 billion from ₦10.185 billion.
The market breadth was positive at 1.78X as 32 stocks advanced and 18 stocks declined, while 72 stocks remained unchanged. LIVESTOCK topped the gainers’ list with 9.87%, while IKEJAHOTEL declined by 9.70% to lead the losers’ chart.
ZENITHBANK recorded the highest volume and the highest value for the day.
