Trading activities in the Nigerian Equities market closed positive at the end of today, Thursday (13/03/2025), as the NGX-ASI increased to 106,220.62 from 106,090.38 recorded at the close of the previous trading day, indicating a YTD return of +3.78%.
Similarly, the market capitalization increased by ₦81.75 billion to ₦66.518 trillion from ₦66.436 trillion recorded at the previous trading day’s close. Also, the market turnover increased to ₦16.654 billion from ₦10.259 billion.
The market breadth was positive at 1.75X as 35 stocks advanced and 20 stocks declined, while 64 stocks remained unchanged. UPDC topped the gainers’ list with 9.92%, while UPL declined by 10.00% to lead the losers’ chart.
TANTALIZER recorded the highest volume and GEREGU recorded the highest value for the day.
