The market performance for the week increased by 2.00%, with the NGX All-Share Index (ASI) increasing to 108,049.47 from 105,933.03 recorded at the start of the trading week.
The market capitalization decreased by ₦700 billion to ₦67.415 trillion from ₦68.116 trillion recorded at the previous trading day’s close. However, the market turnover increased to ₦12.924 billion from ₦9.196 billion.
The market breadth was positive at 1.29X as 36 stocks advanced and 28 stocks declined, while 56 stocks remained unchanged. ROYALEX topped the gainers’ list with 10.00%, while BUAFOODS declined by 10.00% to lead the losers’ chart.
