      The Nigeria Equity Market closed trading activities for today Tuesday (29/11/2022) negative, as the NGX-ASI decreased by 0.24% to 47,322.97 from 47,436.45; indicating a YTD return of +10.78%.

      Similarly, the market capitalization decreased by N61.81 billion to N25.78 trillion from N25.83 trillion. The market turnover increased to N1.65 billion from N1.56 billion.

      The market breadth was negative at 0.93x as 13 stocks advanced and 14 stocks declined, while 81 stocks remained unchanged. CHAMS topped the gainers’ list with +9.09%, while NEIMETH declined by – 7.97% to lead the losers’ chart. Also, TRANSCORP recorded the highest volume, while MTNN recorded the highest value for the day.

      Stocks whose share prices lost during intra-day trading include:

      NEIMETH(-7.97%), NB(-7.66%), CAVERTON(-5.68%), ETI(-5.16%), UBN(-4.58%), STANBIC(-4.23%),ACCESSCORP(-3.53%), AIICO(-1.82%), ROYALEX(-1.41%), ZENITHBANK(-1.36%), WEMABANK(-1.32%), STERLNBANK(-0.69%), UBA(-0.69%) and GTCO(-0.25%).
