Trading activities in the Nigerian Equities market closed negative at the end of today, Friday (14/03/2025), as the NGX-ASI decreased to 105,955.13 from 106,220.62 recorded at the close of the previous trading day, indicating a YTD return of +3.52%.
The market performance for the week, however, decreased by 0.54%, with the NGX All-Share Index (ASI) decreasing to 105,955.13 from 106,533.26 recorded at the start of the trading week
Similarly, the market capitalization decreased by ₦166 billion to ₦66.352 trillion from ₦66.518 trillion recorded at the previous trading day’s close. Also, the market turnover decreased to ₦11.057 billion from ₦16.654 billion.
The market breadth was negative at 0.92X as 22 stocks advanced and 24 stocks declined, while 74 stocks remained unchanged. ROYALEX topped the gainers’ list with 10.00%, while TANTALIZER declined by 9.85% to lead the losers’ chart.
CHAMPION recorded the highest volume and ARADEL recorded the highest value for the day.
