Similarly, the market capitalization increased by N261.03 billion to N29.20 trillion from N28.94 trillion recorded at the close of the previous trading day, while the market turnover increased to N3.26 billion from N2.05 billion.
The market breadth was positive at 1.57x as 22 stocks advanced and 14 stocks declined, while 70 stocks remained unchanged. OANDO topped the gainers’ list with +9.84%, while MAYBAKER declined by -8.70% to lead the losers’ chart. Oando’s performance was driven by the company’s declaration of Profit After Tax (PAT) at 34.7B for the year 2021, which stipulates 125% increment in comparison with the previous year. TRANSCORP recorded the highest volume for the day, while ZENITHBANK recorded the highest value for the day.
